London, 27 October 2016. In the lead up to the American Film Market, Independent have come on board to represent available territories on Bright Pictures and Daryl Prince Productions’ heartwarming comedy THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES.  

Andrew Orr’s INDEPENDENT FILM SALES today confirmed they are on board to sell Bafta-winner Noel Clarke’s BROTHERHOOD. Independent will screen the film to buyers during the American Film Market. 

Independent will represent powerful drama THE ESCAPE for International Sales, directed by Dominic Savage (LOVE+HATE, FREEFALL) and produced by Guy Heeley (LOCKE, LONDON SPY) for Shoebox Films. The project will be introduced to buyers at Toronto 2016.

Independent has closed a raft of deals across their documentary slate.

Independent will represent ON THE ROAD, directed by BAFTA winning director Michael Winterbottom (24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE, THE TRIP), for International Sales. The film is produced by Melissa Parmenter (THE TRIP, THE FACE OF AN ANGEL) and Anthony Wilcox for Revolution Films.

Tribeca-bound UK comedy Adult Life Skills (formerly known as How To Live Yours) has secured an international sales deal with Independent and a UK distribution deal with fledgling London-based outfit Lorton Distribution, which will make the film its first release. 

Johnny Harris stars alongside Ray Winstone, Michael Smiley and Ian McShane, with music from Paul Weller. 

The South by Southwest Film Festival has announced their 2016 line-up with Irish co-production ‘I Am Not A Serial Killer’ recieving a World Premiere as part of the Narrative Spotlight strand.
