I Am Not A Serial Killer to have World Premiere at SXSW

Directed by Billy O’Brien and adapted by from the novel of the same name by Dan Wells. Christopher Lloyd (‘Back to the Future’), Max Records (‘Where the Wild Things Are’), and Laura Fraser (‘Breaking Bad’) star in the feature, which charts the story of a teenage boy hunting for a supernatural serial killer in his snowbound Midwestern town. ‘I Am Not A Serial Killer’ is screening in of SXSW. Director O'Brien said “I am delighted to be chosen by SXSW, with its history of picking interesting and innovative films and its quirky mix of both Film and Music”.
The SXSW festival presents the best in new independent music and film every year in Austin, Texas. During the nine days of SXSW Film, 139 features will be shown, with additional titles forthcoming. The complete lineup will consist of 89 World Premieres, 13 North American Premieres, and 8 U.S. Premieres, selected from over 2,450 feature-length submissions. First-time filmmakers account for 52 films, continuing the SXSW tradition of showcasing independent discoveries from up-and-coming directors.
